Recently graduated from CU-Boulder. Still residing in Boulder, Colorado. Now working with Paul Polak and the Out of Poverty team. On the weekends you can find me wandering through the mountains exploring the forests. Being outside is my favorite thing to do.
I love photography and making videos, its an important piece of me. I love pictures, the stories that lie behind them. I believe good photography has the power to transform people, cultures, and our world.
I love animals, I think they are wonderful. I especially love dogs-I'm kind of a dog snob.
My favorite books are the "boring type". History is real, there is something special about real stories to me. I struggle getting into any sort of fantasy world. I can never get past the first twenty pages. Sorry Twilight, sorry Game Hungers.
When I'm not flipping through dusty pages, I like painting, drawing, using pastels or charcoals. I like full days of a project-waking up early, having coffee, listening to music, and going to it.
After I'm all spent in the creative department, I head to the kitchen. Lover of all veggies-its likely broccoli, spinach, onion, and quinoa again. Fresh vegetables are the way to my heart! Been a vegetarian since March.
At the end of the day, I'm just happy to be alive. I've been blessed in so many ways-with family, with friends, with experiences. I'm incredibly grateful for my life. I'm excited for where I've been and where I'm going. I can't wait for what lies ahead: the adventure that will be life. I can't wait to try new things, take risks, to fail, to learn from the failures, to grow and push myself farther than I could have imagined.
